Hi All
Problem with the head light dip/full beam switch.(I think ???) Been for a MOT today and on test no full beam,(no power at all to headlight bulbs) checked at home and it was working, but then found after multiple dip/full changes there was the occasion when the lights failed.
Any suggestions out there, is it possible to remove the switch assembly and clean the contacts ( could they be pitted/corroded). I have given it a shot of WD40, but the problem is still there. Any one have a switch assembly for sale.

im sure it will just be a case of removing the trim around the steering colum and looking at it from there.
you should probabaly have a look at the fuse too. i would just replace the switch/stalk, wont cost much. there really isnt much else it can be if everything else is working fine

PM me if you need Sportrak Help..
Headlight,dip/full beam switch/ fault

as paul says but it is also worth checking the headlamp main relay and if fitted the dim-dip lamp resister
with the main headlamp relay ensure that there continuity between teminals 1-2, 2-3, 3-1
good luck
