Your best option to try is the EBC yellowstuff pads (same as Copen), Don't bother with EBC Greenstuff which are not really a upgrade at all.
And some Mintex discs (again buy the ones listed for Copen which are correct, the YRV ones in the book are wrong for the turbo)
Don't need to bother with grooved or drilled discs, They look nice behind wheels but are not going to help with fade, infact it's worse as you don't have as much metal to work as a heat sink.
ill grab some ebc
ill grab some ebc yellow-stuff and try those I see ebc list them for the yrv turbo
Ummm... Dont rate the EBC
Ummm... Dont rate the EBC yellows to be fair
I know we had a chat about this at the last meet up, and yes you can get the same discs and pads from the Daihatsu Copen. I have had something similar to the EBC yellow Stuffs (D-Sport Yellow rated 2 pads) and discs.
On mine I have new discs and kevlar pads from www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk not the cheapest but I have been impressed with them thus far (over 1 1/2 years), and rated by a lot of the Scooby crowd over on scoobynet
Even [Daihatsu]Dave has test drove my car and against the EBC yellows he has fitted compare to mine, my brakes have the edge
I am also running rally rated rear drum brake shoes as well. Jump in here Daihatsudave if you can remember what these were called again?

But Godspeed, and all the others simply take a aftermarket plain disc (usually made by National or Delphi/Mintex as these are good quality with a big range in stock), then groove/drill it (godspeed also paint the middle hub area as well)
And charge a whopping extra amount, there is no performance difference.
None of these small company can afford the tooling and equipment to produce brake discs for every make and model.
