sirion rally 2 on spax springs

Forum:

ive just fitted a set of spax springs on my rally 2 after my osf one failed the mot,i doubt helped by the amount of speed bumps in my area.they were sold as being 30mm lower than standard sirion and as the rally is lowered close to thereabouts i thought it wouldnt affect the look of the car too much if at all.All looks well and the ride is far better than the car has had in the 4 years ive owned it,still stiff but nowhere near as harsh and crashy as it was even with a couple of passengers in the back

The springs were just over

The springs were just over £120 delivered from dcdesign.co.uk. I ordered them last saturday evening and they arrived wednesday, only took me a couple of hours to fit too. Ill try and get some pictures up as i need to be under the car again at some point this week as the mot tester noted excessive corrosion on the last couple of inches of the osr brake pipe. I hoped that would be a simple fix but it looks like the pipe that needs replacing runs the full length and width of the car. I think if thats the case some lucky local garage will be getting that job
