I picked up a crack in my 4trak windscreen a while back. It wasn't repairable but neither was obscuring my vision so I left it until nearer the MOT before getting it fixed.
It was fixed a couple of weeks ago ..... great, all done and dusted HA b....dy HA !
A truck spat up a stone today and put a 4 inch crack in the damn windscreen again, a week before the MOT.
What sort of attitude are my insurance company likely to take over this
Any thoughts, guys.

Basically you are asking how
Basically you are asking how long is a piece of string.
It depends on your insurance company and their terms and conditions for your particular cover. I have similar problems with my company cars, they seem to attract stones into the windscreen. As it is always a company policy they replace cracked windscreens, and repair those which are repairable. There is no limit normally due the amount of miles i normally drive.
I would contact your insurers and see what they say.
insurance companys
