needing help asap

Forum:

hi ive a fourtrack 2.8turbo diesel 1992,im trying to replace brake discs ,im having great difficulty removing the hubs, ive done loads of brakes over the years .but none like this can anyone help thanks mike

allen heads first

assuming your on manual locking hubs these come off first (in free position ), then next set of bolts behind that unit, then disc roughly, its fairly simple, there's also a circlip to come of end of the shaft behind the locking hub, tke it apart bit by bit you'll soon figure it out if you've done discs before, the disc has to be inbolted from a flange, these can get rusted......

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

Front Axle Hub

Hi there,
I have the service manual for the Fourtrack, older than yours but, I believe the Front Axle Hub is the same. Send me an E-mail adress and I can mail the page to you.
Best regards,
The Viking
