To upload an image you need to do the following. Down the right hand side below the menu with your Username as the title click on "Create content", then on the next page click on "Image". Then you pick a title for the image, pick a gallery for it to go into, select the image you want to upload, and if you want write something about the image. Click preview, and if all looks fine click on Post.
