Not sure on that particular vehicle, but normally it depends on how far you are going.Over a long journey i have been told that some bearings in the gearbox can become short of oil,get hot and seize onto a shaft, then the prop tries to drive the gearbox and hence the engine ......the outcome is not good!!!!
Mike.
I don't see any problem and as long as you are not in gear or 4wd it will be the same as towing any other car other than an AUTOMATIC where I believe the driving wheels may have to be lifted.
I assume a frame is the "A" frame type which you may have problems with as the Police don't like them unless they are being used by a bona-fide recovery firm. Having said that, I have towed MG's through France and across England (350 miles+)with no problems and certainly no vehicle damage. If it is an A frame be sure to unlock the steering and the car will follow you better. At least access to the hitching areas will be better than on a car where bit have to be removed to give sufficient clearance eg, front valances, bumpers etc and in particular front plastic spoilers.
