Remove the radiator bottom hose, or open the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator, to flush remove a heater pipe, set the temperature control to the hot position and insert a hosepipe into the heater pipe, this will flush the top of the cooling system.
Refit the hoses and fill with pure water, or water with a cooling system cleaner, with water, take the vehicle on a long run to loosen any debris, drain off again, and refill with a 50/50 mixture of water and anti-freeze.
If using a cleaner, follow the manufacturers instructions for the product.
