F78 X reg lwb fieldman, I have a leaking fuel line on the pipe clip chassis side just to the front edge of the rear wheel. Can anyone help on pipe sizes, connections and availability, I had an old f70 that had the fuel lines inside is that a possibility? Its not a major leak as yet, but messy tends to leave a patch on the tarmac. Any help or advice gratefully received.

Hi, i replaced my leaking metal pipe with 6mm and 8mm rubber hose to match the two bore sizes, and cable tied it to the top of the chassis rail so its out of the way, the pipe is a bit costly cos you need long lengths of it, so use a piece of string to guide where your going to put it and then measure length,pop to a garage to get it, use ordinary hose clips, thick cable ties - plenty off, but dont pull to tight cos you will clamp the hole inside, easy peasy.But this was an f70 so i hope pipe size hasnt changed.;)

Leaky Fuel Pipe
A thought, is it not possible to cut the pipe and replace a section of it with a stainless braided hose that have jubilees on each end?

Thats kind of what i did but with proper rubber fuel pipe.
