My 1998 fourtrack f78 has got a power problem when the turbo kicks in. It is just like someone is turning the throttle on and off. Done the normal things bypassed fuel and air filter. Checked the exhaust for smoke(Blue&white)No smoke If anyone has any ideas I would be most Greatfull. with thanks Jason

does it feel like someone is turning the engine on an off?? is it only when the turbo is boosting?

Found out the problem. A small valve called VSV located behind the air filter box. It controls the fuel pump boost diaphram and this valve was passing under pressure.
