I am rebuilding a 1983 F50.
Does anyone know if newer leaf springs are compatible with my F50 please? Also does anyone know where I can get some leaf springs (front and rear)for my F50?
Also will a later 2.8 engine be compatible with my gearbox?

The engine will fit, you just need to bolt the 2.5 engine mounts to the 2.8 block. The only 'problems' are (if you want the terbo 2.8, and if your thinking of the nonterbo DON'T the 2.5 pulls better) the exhaust will need modifying, and the fule pump on the 2.8 is electronicly switched on and off, whilst the 2.5 is mecanically operated.
The springs wont, as the later ones are longer. As far as I'm awaire Millner Conversions still do F20/50 springs.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
