hi guys.
i've been having intermittent faults with the immobiliser in my 4trak. this morning it had totally given up, the light keeps flashing and there is no way of disarming it.
before i call out an auto electrician and get charged a fortune for bypassing the immobiliser, i wonder if anyone has any idea of how to disarm the system or bypass it. there is no make or model on it. there is a key barrel which says on/off but it has no effect whatsoever on the flashing of the light.

Battery
1. Have you changed the battery in the hand set? Flat hand set and no reception. Fit new battery as stated in handbook.
2. Try pushing the car to a new location ... a couple of meters. I had similar problems with a discovery ... micro mast interference. Disco was on 315mhz and I had to change the system to 433mhz --- the new accepted immobilisers frequency for Europe.
