A few ....
Check spark plug gap.
Check distributor timing.
Check distributor is advancing.

I would agree with Mace but add those ignition leads which are often overlooked and can cause considerable reisitance problems as the inner carbon core fails. Check also the Rota arm which can wear . It sounds very much like ignition and these are the cheapest and easiest bits to DIY sort.
If that doesn't improve the situation you may want to check the compression on each cylinder before moving to the injection system which are pretty bomb proof.
