I have a 1993 F78 TDX independant which I have found has the common problem of a rusty rear chassis tube. Does anyone know of someone in or around the S.East who can supply and fit a replacement. I have spoken to a Mr Atkinson in Stoke-on-Trent who has been extremely helpful but unfortunatley my F78 won't make it from Surrey. Please HELP!

sounds very familiar - thats why im working on mine now. i just got it welded. if its rusty there have a look behind the front bumper at the chassis tubes and also at the front mounting points of the rear leaf springs - give it all a ggod hammer and a wirebrush.
keep your eye on my diary in the general 4x4 section ill be posting pics of the welding i had done. cost me £150 after i prepped the area. garage quoted £350 including petrol tank removal (which i did myself)
