Hi guys
I'm having an issue with my brake lights at the moment ('96 F78)...they work ok without lights on...but at night when my lights are on, when i use brakes the o/s brake light goes out completely and the n/s brake light gets a bit brighter. This only happens when my lights are on.
Can anyone shed a bit of light on this matter for me as i've heard the 4trak rear lights are a bit of a nightmare?

sounds like a bad earth, had several problems with my back lights, i ended up soldering a wire from bulb holder to earth which cured the problem for me, try cleaning any dirtyor rusted contacts first. hope this helps
