Hi there,
I have a 92 fourtrach 2.8D which I am at the moment fitting a oil pressure gauge to. The gauge is one of the electrical type and my problems is understanding my instructions i.e. I am told to connect the red wire to the 'ACC ON' but I can't find an ACC ON. I have asked at my local garage and got a blank look. I have asked the manufacturers of the gauge and I got an email back saying "connect the ACC ON to the red wire"!!!!!!
I have a feeling that all this ACC ON meens is to connect the red wire to the ignition
Please has any body out there had the same problem?

ACC ON (Accessories on) is a
ACC ON = Accessories on.
If you look at the barrel it is stamped on there. It is a position on the keyswitch barrel which if it's the same as the Sportrak, is the 1st position on the key which allows the radio, etc. to work. The 2nd position turns on the ignition, and the 3rd is the sprung starter point.
No need to go ferreting about with the wiring too much - if it's just a gauge not wanting a good load, then maybe just hack into the radio supply.

High there Dave,
Thanks for the info. I fitted the last wire (to the radeo power line) and my gauge works. Thanks for your input. All I've got to worry about now is, is my oil pressure high enough?
