hi there fourtrak lovers!
iv just purchesed a landrover 200tdi intercooler that i would like 2 fit 2 my 89 TD fourtak....just wondering if you have 2 turn the diesel pump up? or maybe the turbo? if so by how much do you olter the settings?

Forget it, the mountings, and flow characteristics are all wrong for the Daihatsu, seen these fitted before and despite putting them on a rolling road, the fuelling is wrong.

its possible to fit a intercooler to non intercooled diahatsu itl run ok but if you wanted to adjust the pump then you can and some have seen some good results believe it or not if your know what your doing then go to difflock.com there is part of the forum dedicated to diahatsus and there is info on how to tweek the diesel pump if not then take to someone who does but if you do alter the pump get a EGT (exhaust gas temperature) gauge this the thing you have to watch out for you cant allow the EGTs to get too high or else things start melting hope this help
