Hello to all,
I looked at a 2.8tdx 1997 today but when i took it for a drive it went up the gears fine but when coming down i couldn't get it into 2nd, only 2nd had this problem other than that the car was great and i fell in love, however as i have a 3.5v6 pajero on the drive that has eaten the best part of two grand and no-one can fix i was very wary of buying another money pit!! So i was wondering if anyone knows if this will be the nut i have read about on the problem pages or something more serious and do you have to drop the oil to do the nut as was thinking of test driving trying nut and then if not that not buying!!! also how much would a gear box be and is it simple to fit sorry to sound stupid but have never owned a daihatsu before, the car i looked at is very cheap judging by parkers guide so hence i was worried about this gear thing!!
