Forum:
Hi all,
Looking to upgrade to full out mud-terrain off road only tyres, as our CAMAC's are pretty good but just letting us down when its really muddy.
We've only got 15" wheels at the moment and the tyre sizes seem to be limited to 195's which mean we're be taking about a 2-3" drop in diameter and reducing our diff clearance even more. So we would like to keep to around the 30-32" total diameter, but cannot seem to find any really aggressive tyres at there sizes.
Anyone got any ideas or choices, or suppliers who can do it at 15"? Or do we need to really get those Vitara rims?!!!
Truck wont be used on Road, so more aggressive the better!!
Cheers,
Shaun

Bronco Dimondbacks, 215/15.
Bronco Dimondbacks, 215/15. About £50 each direct from bronco website. They are a retread (new tread glued round an old tyre) and have a masive tread depth. They stand nearly as tall as a 31/10.50-15 due to extra rubber. Get the originals from bronco as these have side wall protection glued on as well. They will put up with a lot of punishment.
The only one I ever flatened was a flint sticking out of the side of a rut which the wheel was spining in. sliced right through. no tyre would have held up to that.
They were developed as a hill rally tyre. They are meant to be spun at high speed to clean them. At low speed they will fill up, though still be better than many other tyres. However one good blip of the throtel to spin the muck out, and wham, your away!

Agree with Nev, Diamond Back offer a good all round package, pretty good in mud and at a competitive price, also consider Cooper's offerings, good tyres with exceptional life; pit bull are also very good where terrain is a combination of mud and solid rock.
