Forum:
Hi all,
I'm new to the site and was hoping you guys could help with a question. I've owned acouple of 4traks in the past, both with auto locking hubs (push the button on the dash - job done). I've been to look at a '97 model TDX and this has the button on the dash and also the manual free/lock hubs. Is this correct or has someone been messing about with it?:-?
Thanks in Advance
Mick

no worries
A very common thing, auto hubs go wrong - they are crap, cost money to replace, what somebody has done like lots of others is to fit the manual hubs, this means getting of ones back side to put it in lock for 4wd, the switch will be redundant, all you need to do is click the hubs in lock first before operating the high, low transfer box lever ok.
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!
