New Sirion

Hi All,

I have just bought myself a 2008 model Sirion 1.5SX and I must say I am very impressed. The looks and the handling are immense and build quality is outstanding Shok

It is nice to see a site with so many other sirion owners.

I do have a question about the centre console of the sirion 2. On my car the speedo etc are in red but the centre console is in the standard Amber. Is there anyway I can change the centre console to red to match the speedo?

Looked at the pics of your new sirion and it looks great. Were the twin exhaust and alloys extras? What size are the alloys?

Exhaust and Alloys

Yes the Exhaust and the alloys were extra. The model comes standard with 14" rims but the ones I had were 16". I think they make it look loads better, but I was looking into whether 18's would fit without modification ;).

I am still running it in but I hope to be able to try out the engine soon (done 500 miles and have to stick to max 55MPH for first 1000 miles)

Body kit

What's the 1.5 engine like? I've got a 1.3 called Miwa she's got the full body kit and rubbers on her along with the front and back wind deflectors and she can shift, yours must feel like a rocket.

Yours is that silver one on the image gallery right?

Surprised you havn't gone for the lowering kit Smile . Then try out which alloys would go with it.

Lowering Kit

I was thinking about it but my Fiance was hit by a Drink driver when she was younger :mad: so she finds it hard to get into and out of low cars so didn't want to lower it too much (although 40mm isn't that much it may be too much for her) so I am content with the car as it is :).

I was amazed the amount of dealer mods to be honest. I think the only thing they don't do dealer mods on is the engine Lol
