Fourtrak spring to coil suspension conversion!

Hi all,

I want to change the spring suspension of my Fourtrak F70 1987 with coil suspension from TLC LJ70. I will keep my original axles. Does anybody made this kind of conversion? What difficulties would I face in this project? Any information will be very useful.

Hiya, if you look on this forum under mods there are a few pages here and there about putting coils on the fourtrak, personally i wouldnt do it, from what extra articulation you can get its not worth the bother, unless youve got locking diffs in those tlc axles, if its artic you want id look into what the suzuki and jeep boys do with scisssor and revolver shackles on either front or rear springs you can google these on the internet and you will see what i mean.

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!
