Feroza '92 EFI. After several close shaves with a failing battery I changed it. All OK for a few eeks when suddenly with no reason no electrics after being parked for a couple of hours. Battery voltage on a multimeter was less than 1 volt. Had to leave the car and walk home, but returned about 4 hours later. When the battery was disconnected the terminal voltage was around 12.9. On reconnection there was a small spark and a faint click and everything OK. It seems that something ws dragging the battery voltage down (to less than 1 volt), but I can't understand why that didn't result in a totally drained abttery. Could the click indicate a stuck starter solenoid? Any ideas or similar experience please? I hate random faults as Murphy's law is bound to kick in and it will fail again at a bad moment!
