I have a 2.5 F50 engine in my Landrover. The temperature gauge has not worked since I bought it. It has a Daihatsu sender unit and Landrover gauge and I'm thinking these are incompatible. What are your thoughts? Does anyone have a Daihatsu gauge and maybe a sender unit as I'm not sure if that works either, or any idea of a fix. The Landrover sender has a different thread.

I may have a guage to match, but no garentees. If the landi sender will fit in the hole, but is just the wronge thread you could fix it in with metal putty. The only problem could be getting it out if it goes wronge later. Or you could drill and tap a new hole for the Landi sender?
