would A gearbox from a f77 fourtrak fit into a f80 fourtrak??

The F77 box will go in the
The F77 box will go in the F80, but you have to put the F80 primary imput shaft and bell housing on the front. Or yes the F77 transfure will go on the F80 gearbox, but it will be a higher ratio output. The F80 is the lowest, F77 next, followed by F70 Normaly asperated, and F70 Terbo. I think.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.

yep i have put a F85 gearbox on my F75 2.9 turbo derv lump as nev said you have to swap the bell housing and pop out the primary input shaft i also used the F80 transfer box just didnt connect the electrics for the 4 wheel high button as its all on the second lever
as for the ratios there is a difference but the thing still goes like a train
