Please could anyone recommend someone preferably in West or South Yorkshire who can change a timing belt on a Fourtrak 1993 2.8TDX 110,000 miles? I will obtain the timing belt + any other parts, strip the vehicle in readiness and re-assemble but I have no idea as to how to set the actual timing once the new belt is in place. I have been quoted in excess of £300 + vat by a local garage which seems high to me. I have changed a timing belt before but on a petrol(ugh) engine and have no experience of diesels.I service the vehicle myself which we have owned for 10 years.
