Hi I have a 1994 M reg 2.8 TDX Independent Four Track. While i am driving along the road the ignition lights flicker on and off and the lights dim but i dont lose engine power???? is this an bad earth and has anyone else had this problem.

2nd Problem when pulling away in 1st & 2nd the engine pull well right up to 4,000 which is it max, but when in 3,4,5 the engine will only pull to 3,000 rpm and then stops as if there is a rev limiter on the car, can anyone help with these issues. Many Thanks in advance.
