Hi I have a Japanese import 2001 daihatsu atrai7 it is the private version of the daihatsu extol van.

Every time I start the car within two minutes the engine management light lights up and stays on for approx 3 mins. The engine seems to be fine, no performance issues while driving. I attempted to use a obd2 scanner but it's not communicating with the ECU. Any ideas please?
