Hi All, my Terios jumps about on bumpy roads , giving a very unstable ride. Even at 40 mph it bounces over bumps instead of hugging the road, is this normal , at 70mph does not feel that safe, I have 4 brand new quality tyres & new MOT, is this normal or can the suspension be uprated . What about better bushes , not sure what to do. Can any one help, Barry

Hi Barry Don`t panic my one done the same sort of thing ,Time to get your spanners out!! Replace your pan hard rod rubber bushes x2 as they perish (look around the big flat washer and nut right hand side end and you will see that they have spilt it`s usealy the out side one that splits) only available from Daihatsu as no after market ones are to be got at least where I live this is the rod that connects the chassis to the rear axle and runs at an angle left to right By the way these bushes are very expensive about £25 each for all they are, and if you have any money left replace your two rear shocks about £38 each also if you like while you are at it replace the rear springs to make a job of it these are cheap enough I bought 2 for £36 all in.ALL this sorted out my Terios and now is fine, Hope this helps you out Shugy
