RALLY 2

Forum:

What's happenened to the price of Rally2s

On ebay there are 2 2002 under £1k with 70k approx.

However ordinary 1.3 or 1.0 Sirions with similar mileages are going for much greater figures.

Bob - anyone - any idea??

I'm definitely not selling now!!

Prices

I saw this a couple of days ago, There was one on there for £950 or thereabouts!

They are a bargain and I am not sure why thats so; maybe it could be that the sellers simply don't realise what it is?

How Much!

Yeah noticed these cars have taken a nose dive in prices recently. Even the YRV Turbo130 has decreased a little, nearly getting under £2,000 now Sad

Maybe it's a combination of the Money issues, high mileage, and the fact Daihatsu are only doing parts now perhaps?

They are such good value

They are such good value these days to us wise ones who know about them!

I'm looking to buy one again at the moment after recently seeing quite a few nice looking ones for £1000-£1500.

I bought Rally2 brand new in 2004 (one of the last ones made), paid £9995 with some dealer discount. I'm a driving Instructor so they fitted free dual controls and used it for 2 years as a learner car, was a great for pupils and also fun for me as a daily drive. But I then joined the AA Driving School so needed to sell the Sirion.

Problem was, the usual Daihatsu heavy depreciation, and my higher than average mileage (45,000 in 2 years).

So in 2006, My 2004 Rally 2 was sold in the end for a shocking £2900, after months of trying for £3500-£4000. Just couldnt sell it.
