hi everyone just like to say im the proud owner of a yellow yrv turbo and i love it its so much fun i love the fact nobody ive met yet knows what it is and the fact i havent seen another one yet while out on the road (preston lancs)keeps the boy racers scratching there heads when i pass there local meet and the fact i can fit almost anything especially fishing gear in without a problem and the kids love it anyway just wondering anyone local to me with one cheers .daz

Thats what drew me to the car, I had never seen one. Then when I enquired and found out it was a 1.3 Turbo, plus it had 5 doors and decent space inside I had to have! Looking forward to taking on the boy racers haha!

Yep, I'm in Kirkham mate, bought a yellow one last August. It's nice driving a rare car, and yes, you cn surprise people when you blast past them in a yellow box! Love it;-
By the way we are all having a meet in Cheshire a week Saturday, look under shows/get togethers on here. You are obviously more than welcome to come along and meet other Turbo owners and learn more about these rare machines. The meet is not just for Turbo/YRV owners, basically any Daihatsu car. Did you buy in from Sharoe Green by any chance?
Do a search for YRV Turbo on here and spend some time reading about them etc. If you have any questions etc have a look on here or post a query.
If you can't make the meet, maybe we could meet up sometime in Preston. There are a few in the north west on here with Turbos
