Aftermarket steering wheel

Forum:

Anyone fitted a different steering wheel, like a Momo type?
If so, what boss did you use?
Ta in advance!

I looked into it on fourtrak

its a difficult one, now this is fourtrak not sportrak, I don't know about size difference as I don't have much to do with them, but I know thanks to smeone I met the charade( with some hacking) steering wheel fits, also on ebay on occasion you find rare boss kits that fit the charade, now if they fit fourtrak that's a gamble, but be warned with whatever you do cos a steering wheel you don't want to slip.....

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

In Australia, at least, SAAS

In Australia, at least, SAAS makes a steering wheel boss kit to suit the Rocky/Fourtrak. its a 151L or 161L if I remember correctly. I had one on my F75. But, it needed a bit of modifying, as there wasnt enough depth between the top of the steering column itself and the bottom of the horn button. I made up an aluminium plate out of 3/8 plate, and used this with longer bolts as a spacer between wheel and boss.

Growing old is compulsary, growing up isnt.

I use billion dollar satellites, to find Tupperware.
