Forum:
I don't think I can get any more confused on what to do with my sportrak, I'm planning on putting +2" lifted shackles as well as +2" longer shocks for the rear, but you cant put extended shocks on the front. All I can think of doing to the front is winding up the torsion bars. but i have heard you can only wind them up an inch. so what should i do because i don't want it to be higher at the back than the front.
I'll be adding Sportrak +2" shackles, Pair of +2" rear Pro Comp, Pair of front Pro Comp Shocks. ill also be adding Sportrak 37mm wheel spacers, Sportrak Rock Sliders, Sportrak chequer Plate door trims, just to make it a bit more interesting (sportraks are a bit boring as standard, still love them though)
Any advice would be a great help.
Cheers
Harry

At the risk of sounding like
At the risk of sounding like a brocken record, why not lift the body instead. You don't need to worry about playing with any suspension stuff then.
However, you can move the front top damper mounts down if your worried about bottoming them out. Are the shackles your getting 2", or to lift 2"? If they are 2" longer than standard they will only lift the car by 1" anyway.
Personally I would not use wheel spacers due to the extra strain on wheel barings, but I know several other people think there is no issue.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
