Forum:
Any one know who makes them, or has any drawings of sizes etc. I want to do a 2" suspension lift on my 89 4trac (leafs all round).
Bronco advertize a lift for the fourtrak at near £500.00, any one got this.
any advice please.

Extended shackles
I think i said before but why don`t you make your own or at least get a competant person to weld up a set, i used 5mm steel plate braced with box section, drilled top and bottom to hold the bolts and off you go, 2" higher. It worked well enough on my 2 Suzukis and they are the same set up just a bit smaller than a fourtrak
SHACKLES
Guy - is that the shackles for the Lightweight Landrover??
i live near to a landy parts place so this is a great option.
The reason is dont want them made is i asked a local engineering shop and the price quoted was stupid, if i can buy a set for about ?£50.00 i will be happy. Engineering guy wanted £200.00!!!!!!!!!!

you can go to a land rover st
you can go to a land rover stockist such as auto post and buy military landrover shackles along with there extended bolts, you will have to put spacers either side of the spring because the fourtrack shackle tapers and the landie 1 is straight but not a big problem , done it on mine, gives you about 1 1/2 inches of lift but is easily done for less than £50 so save ya money and go for this option

Check out www.Rhinorays.co.uk, He does lots of trick bits for Suzuki's, he lists shackle's various & may be of some help to you.
