As its been stated by other members, this subject keeps coming up.

But it has been a while since anyone has realy updated the subject.

Anyway.

Hoping someone can help me out.

Im currently running my fourtrak on regular diesel.

Been thinking for a while now to change to bio fuel,

Just wondering

Is it worth while ?

What mix would be recomended,

Any news from those running unmodified fourtraks on veg oil?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone running their unmodified fourtrak on veg oil svo/derv/rug mix has anything to report?

It would be useful to hear what blends you've run/tried and for how many miles? Any problems with coking/ring gumming, injector pump issues etc.?

im looking at runing my fourtrack on veg oil and some deisel what would i have to do to the oil befor usesing it can you buy special filters and what can i do so it dont damage my enigen

Hey, i run my fourtrak and have done for a wee while on wvo, its cooked and filtered to 1 micron.

on my fourtrak i have an inline heater just before the filter and pre filter, the fuel pipe has been replace with a larger diameter 1.

I think i'm having problems with animal fat in the fuel and blocking the filter, do i need to heat the fuel more before the filter?

or fit a heated filter?

what other oils can be ran in the daihatsu? does it have to be rapeseed oil or can it be any cooking oil like sunflower oil? any advice welcome.

hi everybody i am a newbie on this forum although owned 3 fourtraks at differnt times i currently have a f78 tdl
i wanted to know if anybody runs theres on homemade bio
as i used to brew it up for my previous van a VWLT28 tdi
i dont know what sort of pump is on the f78

Prices for NEW Rapeseed Oil

Hi All.

Any one have any current prices and Supermarket brands which have cost effective prices for New Rapeseed Oil. My local Tesco's for Diesel is £1.8p per litre, and the cheapest New Rapeseed Oil is £1.00 per litre. Just hate paying all that tax on my fuel. This is in the Bristol area.
