My Fourtrak

1984 850 cab 843cc engine problems

I was on the motorway and the engine overheated, I waited for it to cool then tried to restart. The engine was turning well but would not fire. I took the plugs out one by one and checked for a spark and all were sparking. I checked the oil for water and vise versa but all seemed ok. Can anyone give me any pointers as I am at a lost end. I would be most grateful for any help.

You have probably got it

You have probably got it sorted by now, but I would think that it's possibly blown the head gasket. you would have to have a compression check done on the engine to confirm this.
