Pimp up the hijet

thinking of pimping my hijet to make it even more unique, not too wild but something different....any ideas????

Wa hoo! some one to share my enthusiasm
i bought my hijet about a month ago
the only thing i have sorted is the wheels
the pcd is 4x110 which is rare to find alloys for
you could get a set of ford 4x108 pcd wheels and a set of pcd variable nuts to suit
i have a set of weller wheels that im having the 110 pcd holes drilled by a local machine shop
i have 7x13 for the rear and 6x13 for the front
i have preped the van ready for paint in a week or so
i want to lower it on the rear but im not sure how coz if i put the axel over the leaf springs the axel will hit the chassis rails when i go over a bump so i need another solution the front spring could be cut to suit

im abit of a novice and couldnt make head nore tails of all them numbers you said but i want some lol. we'll have to get some pics up of are vans and have are very own little hijet mini club that would be cooool.

Yes, i agree, we must have a hijet forum on this site just for hijets!! It would be great to have an annual Hijet owners meet up day somewhere nice so all can enjoy. The more interest we get on this the nearer we will be to make it happen.

bones 851 , hi superjet, i know you wrote this ages ago, but ive only joined the site a few weeks , my first hijet and its fantastic i use it to go mountin biking and planned stop overs as these wee rigs are perfect, you said a while back that you put ford wheels on the jet, what were they off, do you have any pics, very interested and would apreciate any advice cheers, happy motoring........

Alloy wheels from Tyresave...

Hi,

Saw your comment. Just happens that I'm gettin' alloy wheels from tyresave.co.uk soon. They have just told me (after waiting for 5 months) that the factory is ready to go ahead in 7 to 10 days. So, if you want some, give them a ring. They're the only company I have found willing to do the very rare 110 pcd.

they sound cool the only alloys iv found are for minis but they fit the hijet iv forgot the friggin website they where on now il have a search. its a shame there arnt more hijet owners they are actually a brill little van, i jockey my kids around in mine iv just made curtains for it now the kids treat it like a little den, i took the seats out the other day and got loads of bikes in it, i love it. well swap some pics if you want

Pimp up the hijet

I've had my hijet for a couple of years now and have been slowly (but surely) pimping it since i got him. I've been starting on the interior first though. Was going to upload a pic but just realised my work computer wont let me access my photos so i will do it later!

i hope you guys still visit this site, i notice the last post was made last year!

Anyway you can check out my vans interior. Planning on getting him sprayed sparkley black and some nice alloys/wheel trims.

I see a lot of advice on alloys but what are the things to know about trims, anybody??

Hi guys, complete novice here! i want to get my hijet sprayed and modded, thinking bull bars alloys and lowered +new lights wing mirrors etc. i have no idea of the costings of all these things, could someone let me know how much it should cost for a spray job at least so that im not completely ripped off! Smile cheers dudes, i love hijets!
