Wiring diagram 1300EFi

Hi there,
Has anyone got a wiring diagram or can point me in the right direction. My hijet has stopped working, no instrument lights, nothing happens when key turned, fuses under steering wheel okay. 12 volts at starter motor. Fuses at LHS, are both okay, however if I remove these two fuses which are EFI No1 and EFI No2 I can only measure 12volts to earth at the left hand terminal of EFI No 1 fuse. Between left hand terminal of EFI No 2 fuse and earth there is no voltage, this appears to be connected to a white wire which looks like the ones that go back to the battery positive terminal. Can anyone confirm this, or maybe help with a wiring diagram.

Immobiliser?

Once had a colleague with similar diahatsu problem. She had run the car for three years. Garage charged her a small fortune for towing and trying to sort the fault. They had the car for over two weeks and almost dismantled the engine. I suggested it could be the engine immobiliser. This came as news since she did not realise her diahatsu had an engine immobiliser. Turned out, whilst getting out the car, her knee had caught the toggle switch positioned beneath the dash. Neither she or the garage were aware of the existance of an engine immobiliser toggle switch! Blush

Check the length of the white wire .... it could have a toggle on/off switch fitted in series!

I've been looking through the diagrams that I have, but to be honest, I can't make heads or tails of it, and I don't see any of the wiring on them that you are talking about. The manuals I have are incomplete, but you're welcome to see them if you like. Sorry.

I have a diagram that shows wiring to the EFI ECU for ignition timing and the distributor on the old 1 litre version of the van. There are some diagrams of certain lights, and wiring diagrams for the guages in the dash.

Unfortunately, I am not an engineer or a mechanic. Sad

only thing ive heard of that mite be,is the alarm will cause these things if its faulty or has been disconnected.
