Hi. I drive a Sirion 1.3 Sporty (FWD-2005 model) and i want to replace the rear drum brakes with disk brakes. I' ve contacted the authorized dealer in my country (Greece) and asked them if we can use the front disk brakes of the Sirion or the rear disk brakes of the YRV Turbo model. They told me that this modification cannot be done, as these brakes won't fit in the Sirion model.

I have been told that many Toyota owners have used Daihatsu parts to tune their vehicles and that i could possibly use the brakes from Toyota Yaris. Is this possible? Are there any other solutions (specific brands) that fit in the Sirion?

I would also like to change my disk pads. Do you know if Ferodo pads (especially DS 2500) works well with the Sirion's brakes?
