Mira Avanzato water pump!

Hi All,

I've been an undercover Avanzato owner for 4 months now and loved it! Until the last weekend when the water pump developed a massive leak.. Can't really see where but when i put water in it comes gushing out.. I could also hear rattling/crunching when the engine was running.

Anyone got any ideas on where i might be able to get hold of a water pump??

Model : not realy sure, it's a 1998, got 4WD..

Hi,

Been waiting three weeks for Daihatsu (Holmfirth) to get back to me. Have rang them a number of times and they keep fobbing me off. Going to try wakefield... what a nightmare !!!

Your local Daihatsu dealer should be able to email your chassis number to the Importer and get back the correct part number & availability! This is done within 24 hours in the case of my local dealer!( who has been VERY helpful!)
You may be able to buy from somewhere like Camskill or even Euro Car parts, but generally i dont feel that Daihatsu take the mick re prices, so the fact that you are getting proper Quality parts means that they should last well!
What part of the country are you in??

I'll give them a ring and see what they say. Did'nt do that as i thought their prices would take the pi55.

I'm in Hudderfield, but had the Zato down in London for abit.
