spare wheel mounting (hijet)

Is it possible to fit bullbars to a hijet pickup, to mount the spare wheel onto?

my hijet is used as a chassis for a romahome camper van and because of the way the camper part sits on the van, its not possible to leave the spare slung underneath on the cradle. Rather than have it rattling around within the body of the camper, I thought it might be possible to mount it up front but wondered if anyone had tried a similar thing before?

Spare Wheel

Hi Jets traditionally suffer from overheating so I would watch the effect a front monted wheel may have on airflow. As far as I recall you can fit a bull bar, perhaps a Rascall one could be modified and I would not see a proble in bolting or clamping a wheel to it but watch the airflow.

Very True

ur right about the over heating,
but for bullbars you can go for suzuki carry plus the supercarry also if there is a metal or welding place near to you pop on in and ask them there can make light weight ones which will be just for show or in ur case holding a spare wheel,
if you do go for one just do a little mod of a air scoop coming from under the front or through the bullbars and that'll sort out the over heating as that help me till i finally fix it.....
