hi

i have been search high and low for some tyres for my dihatsu, everything out of my price range, and anything thats in my proce range was a 15" and i need diff lift as all i do is offroading.

so any way i got offered some bloody good offroad tyres,£20 each!

but they are 16/205 COCK!

AFTER ALOT OF HEAD SCRATCHING AND SEARCHING, I TRACKED DOWN A SET OF "SUZUKI LJ" 16" WHEEL RIMS, AND AS ITS A SUZUKI IT WILL FIT A DIHATSU! Smiling

SO GOT MY TYRES FITTED, GOT THEM BOLTED ON, DIHATSU HAS GROWN BY ABOUT 4INCHES! LOL

BUT ONLY 1 PROBLEM....

THEY CATCH ON THE FRONT LEAFS WHEN TURNING, DONT GET ME WRONG ITS STILLG OT A PRETTY GOOD LOCK, BUT IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET SPACERS ON FRONT???????

However bare in mind that

However bare in mind that the further you go out, the more strain you are putting on suspension, stearing and above all wheel barings. That said Daihats' are tuff over tuff to start with.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
