There are many posts on this forum about manuals not being available for the Daihatsu Hijet. I'm looking for whatever literature I can get my hands for a 2003 Hijet and for confirmation of what is available. It would be handy to have these details on one thread.
So what Hijet manuals are available?
Haynes don't do them but there are Haynes CD's available on Ebay. How is this so? What are these CD's?
Does anyone have the Daihatsu manual and are there copies available anywhere?
One thread mentions the possibility of an Australian manual by Gregory's. Can anyone confirm this or add more information?
Are there Hijet parts lists available from anywhere?
There have many requests for a service manual from this site which are available for other models such as Fourtrack, Sportrack etc. Is there any progress on this?

Well when my uncle gave me his hijet a week or so ago, it came with all the paer work, sales sheet and stuff,
plus 2 manuals one is a book and the other one is a cd, both are close to being the same...
i suppose the ones on ebay are going to be the same ones,
and there aint prices too high as well just under £10pounds,
if you are stuck with something and only need to know
engines specs or small stuff like that then let me know if i have time i will scan the page in and email it to you...

What hijet literature is available? i.e. manuals
Manuals are available through Daihasu dealers, or they were a couple of years ago, although I was told by a number of dealers that there were no manuals.
One dealer did offer to copy parts of "service bulletins" for me.
If you find a dealer who admits to there existence the manuals are Expensive.
Try Womoco, Ken on parts there has been very helpful.
