16inch wheels and mud tyers

could anybody tell me if 16inch wheels with spaces and mud tyers foul any body work on a standard mk1 fourtrak or would my truck need a body lift much thanks jakesy

Spacers will make tyres more

Spacers will make tyres more likely to catch bodywork, as the front wheels have to travel further backward and forward in the wheel arch to go from one lock to the other. This is becouse they will be moving around the center of their turn, instead of twisting on the spot. however as they move the wheel out the will alow bigger tyres to be used without hitting the chassis.
Remember it's tyre choice that desides how big the feet are, not neccesarily the wheel diamiter.
Also bear in mind that wheel spacers will put extra strain on the wheel barings.
