Forum:
I'm laughing :D.
I'm running my Fourtrak 2.8 TDX on waste vegetable oil and it feels much better for it.
I'm getting more mpg, a quieter engine and it's only 75p a litre!
So far, I have done a long run at motorway speeds and averaged 35+ mpg, and too and from work etc, about 33mpg.
I'm mixing it 50/50 with diesel, so it won't congeal at low temperatures, but will be able to run with a higher mix when the spring comes.
I'd be interested to hear if any one else has any experiance with WVO, SVO or 100% biodiesel.
I've been told that I may need to change the injectors after a month, any idea where I can buy some at a good price.
Thanks.

running on vegtable oil
changing injectors isnt a cheap hobby, if you want cheaper fuel how about trying carosine mixed with cheap engine oil , roughlt 20litres of caro - 1 litre new engine oil.regards guy
recycled veg oil.
The point of running on wvo is that it is recycling a waste product. A green fuel with lower emissions and as a bonus, cheaper than diesel. It is also legal, duty paid @ 27.1p per ltr.

Veggie fuel sites.
I found my supply through www.bio-power.co.uk
They have people across the country re-cycling waste oil.
There lots of other sites, goat industries are on
www.vegetableoildiesel.co.uk
Another site http://journeytoforever.org gives lots of good info.
Careful though, this info is addictive!
