Noob here trying to find info for my computer illeterate brother. He's put a Daihatsu Engine into his old Landrover and asked me to find out how you set the timing. He's got the front cover off the engine so that the gears are showing with their dots. I'm struggling to find out information on how they should be set.

Anybody who can shed some light on this I'd be very grateful.
