I have a blown head gasket and jammed piston. So the mechanic instead of fixing the car suggested an engine swap. Now, it is very difficult to find the ej de m100, any ideas what other engine (not only daihatsu) would fit in my Sirion.

Hi,
Talking about 3 cylinder engines, I am sure that the Charade engine will fit in the M100 Sirion.
On second though, I am just wondering why my mechanic is insisting in finding a new engine....?!
I guess the head gasket is not something that cannot be fixed and what about the jammed piston?
