Hi, I had a Sportrak a while ago and loved it. I want to get a second car and was thinking of getting another Sport.
Questions: How good are they off road?
Would I be better going for a Fourtrak?
What is the major difference between the 2?

Sportrak I found is good off
Sportrak I found is good off road but the fourtrak is better and more robust as alot of components are hilux as Toyota used to own daihatsu

Fourtrak much better off road, diesel engine so much better low down torque, much lower fuel consumption, our tests years ago showed 12 gallons per hour for petrol sporty and 4 gallons per hour for Fourtrak over the same course.

Depends what you want to do. As a work horse, the Fourtrak. Hands down. If you want a toy, just for the fun, then the Sportrak is the car for you. The best mixture would be the short wheel base Indipendent.
