Mira L200 Alternator upgrade

Forum:

I'm am considering of updating the main Light output by adding Higher Current relays And increasing the the lighting output ( the lights might be adequate for well lit urban areas but a near useless on limited or unlit rural roads)and am looking at increasing the alternator output to ensure that the output will handle the extra load ( I'm thinking of using H4 100/90 watt or 130/100 watt replacement bulbs)
The only information I have come across on the original alternator is that it is 10amps at 2500 rpm and has a regulated output of 14.2-14.8 volts can anyone give me a bit more information on this alternator and/or a higher out put alternator that can be used as a replacement and what other changes would be needed for the conversion replacement

I tend to use the Bosch

I tend to use the Bosch alternator as this runs about 70-160 amps from current models of vehicles in breakers yards, you will need to upgrade the wiring from alternator to battery, possibly the drive pulley, and obviously make new mounting brackets unless it pivots on a bar and you can shim it in or out.
