Hi all.

I've just bought my first 1993 Fourtrak Fieldman. She's tidy but far from perfect.

When I hit the brake I'm getting a clicking/ solenoid sound from a black box under the dash on the passenger side. I've searched for what that box is and drawn blanks, so here I am
When I turn on the headlights, the brake lights also flicker, and all of this also seems to be effecting the clock lights (speedo, rev counter lights).

I'm guessing this little black box under the dash is a central lighting relay and has developed a short, but a guess is all it is. I'm a tree surgeon, not a sparky, so please go easy on me.
